Ron Rocz's photography career has taken him to places as diverse as Bermuda, Iceland, Puerto Rico, Peru, Russia, and Central and Eastern Europe. His work has appeared in national and international magazines, including National Geographic Traveler, AARP's Modern Maturity and Northwest Airlines' World Traveler.

Rocz has two previous books to his credit, The Churches of Charleston and the Lowcountry (USC Press, 1994) and The Plantations of St. Bartholomew's Parish (Colleton County Historical Society, 2005).

His work is represented by Index Stock Imagery of New York and Chris Fairclough Worldwide Images in London. He lives in Charleston, S.C.
